Top 10 Passers of the May 2024 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 3,155 out of 10,421 candidates passed the Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants held in May 2024. The examination, administered by the Board of Accountancy, took place in numerous locations, including NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

This year, the top examinees have demonstrated exceptional performance. Leading the list are Nicole Agoy Gonzales from the University of the Cordilleras and Hazel Ann Concepcion Sera from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Main Sta. Mesa, both achieving the highest rating of 90.83.

Joseph Camacho Mag-aso Jr. from Binalbagan Catholic College secured the second spot with a rating of 90.50. Shawn Luther So Chan from De La Salle University - Manila placed third with a rating of 90.33. Tied for fourth place with a score of 90.17 are Trisha Tan Huang from De La Salle University - Manila, Terrence Hamlet Dane Sandy Peralta from Liceo de Cagayan University, and Daniel Cartil Terencio from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Main Sta. Mesa.

In fifth place is Gennise Bernadette Tumambing Betita from De La Salle University - Manila, with a rating of 90.00. Marjolyn Golocino Estrada from Kingfisher School of Business and Finance, John Paul Morales Fadrilan from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Main Sta. Mesa, Alyssa Abeleda Quiñones from Technological Institute of the Philippines - Manila, and Mae Pearl Cereneo Secuya from the University of San Jose - Recoletos all tied for sixth place with a rating of 89.83.

Seventh place is shared by Abdel-Nasher Sarail Tnogor from Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology and Norjannah Khalid Tanoga from Mindanao State University - Marawi City, both scoring 89.67. Alexis John Inorentes Olanolan from the University of Mindanao - Davao City placed eighth with a score of 89.50.

In ninth place is Clark Peter Balolot Castillo from the University of San Jose - Recoletos with a rating of 89.33. Tied for tenth place with a score of 89.17 are Victor Nunez Cayago from Universidad de Dagupan, Rustom Dipaling Larvosa from Notre Dame University, and Micolai Kate Tadeo Odronia from the University of the Philippines - Diliman.
