The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 123 out of 342 examinees successfully passed the Occupational Therapists Licensure Examination. The examination was administered by the Interim Board of Occupational Therapy and held in various testing centers across the National Capital Region (NCR), Cebu, and Davao.
The PRC also recognized the top-performing schools based on their examination results. According to Commission Resolution No. 1814, series of 2024, the University of the Philippines - Manila distinguished itself as the leading institution. The university achieved a perfect passing rate of 100%, with all five of its examinees passing the licensure examination.

In addition to announcing the overall results, the PRC also revealed the names of the top four examinees who achieved the highest scores in the licensure examination. Chalie Jean Colina Niere from Davao Doctors College, Inc. secured the top spot with an impressive rating of 82.00. Niere's outstanding performance highlights the quality of education provided by Davao Doctors College, Inc., which has consistently produced top-tier occupational therapy graduates.
Dio-Anna Rixann Andaya Libang from the University of Perpetual Help System-Laguna achieved the second-highest score with a rating of 80.80. Loise Gwen Laguna Olimba, also from Davao Doctors College, Inc., ranked third with a score of 80.40.
The PRC’s announcement brings recognition to the hard work and dedication of the new batch of occupational therapists, as well as the institutions that have provided them with the education and training necessary to succeed in their field. The results of the June 2024 licensure examination highlight the continued excellence in occupational therapy education within the Philippines, as well as the critical role these professionals play in enhancing the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
