Architects Top-Notch June 2024: Top 10 Passers in the Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 2,094 out of 3,370 candidates have successfully passed the June 2024 Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA). The examination, overseen by the Board of Architecture headed by Chairman Arch. Robert S. Sac along with board members Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente and Arch. Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc, took place across several locations including NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on June 11 and 13, 2024.

Highlighting the performance of educational institutions, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta. Mesa emerged as the top-performing school. Out of its 60 examinees, 56 passed, resulting in an impressive passing rate of 93.33%, as per Commission Resolution No. 1814 series of 2024.

Among the top individual performers, Louie Nathaniel Pascual Kiu from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Inc. secured the highest rank with a rating of 83.80%. Following closely, Anna Patricia Rodriguez De Leon from the University of the Philippines-Diliman achieved a rating of 83.40%, and Alyssa Rose Corrales Napoles, also from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, attained the third rank with a rating of 83.10%.

Other notable top performers include Ida Talia Arellano Hernandez from the University of the Philippines-Diliman with a rating of 82.30%, and Martin Russel Parcarey Encisa from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta. Mesa who scored 82.20%. Arvis Lyle Espiritu Cal Ortiz from the University of Santo Tomas and Rosette Claire Esplana Lacanaria from Rizal Technological University both achieved a rating of 82.10%.

Sharing the seventh rank with a score of 82.00 were Francisco Eslira from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Inc., Mary Diane Paloma Murillo from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta. Mesa, Harry Jae Orines Osias from Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta, and Kathrina Paula Baesa Tapang from Bulacan State University-Malolos.

Additional top scorers include Basilio Jose Uri Carolino from the University of Santo Tomas, Joshua Tumiale Garcia from Bulacan State University-Malolos, and Arllan Feoj Arnaiz Santillan from the University of Mindanao-Davao City, each with a rating of 81.70%. Clint Freidrich Arevalo Josol from the University of San Carlos and Karl Daniel Tongko De Guzman from the University of the East-Caloocan, alongside Danielle Marie Lizares Huang from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, also featured prominently with ratings of 81.60% and 81.50% respectively.

These results highlight the dedication and hard work of the examinees and the excellence of the educational institutions that prepared them for this crucial professional milestone.
