The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 7,749 out of 11,116 candidates successfully passed the Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination held in May 2024. The exams were administered by the Board of Nursing across various locations including N.C.R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Topping the list of successful examinees is Abigail Escueta Cayanan from St. Jude College - Dasmariñas, Cavite, Inc., with an impressive rating of 92.60%. Following closely is Jim Jerico Cedric Garo Uy of Saint Paul University - Tuguegarao, who achieved a rating of 91.80%.
Sharing the third spot are Mary Vhinne Anne Verzo Colandog from Southern Luzon State University - Lucban (SLPC) and Zynarik Alzola Tabelisma from Adventist University of the Philippines, both with a score of 91.60%. Camille Shane Macaspac Nuguid from the University of Santo Tomas secured the fourth position with a rating of 91.40%.
Several examinees tied for the fifth place, each scoring 91.00%. They include Bea Sophia Beltran Ferrer (University of Pangasinan), Jhanevhie Cordova Grabillo (University of Perpetual Help System Dalta - Las Piñas), Ejay Torres Gulapa (Bataan Peninsula State University - Main Campus), and Sophia Nicole Tenorio Ugto (University of Pangasinan).
