Top 10 Passers of the May 2024 Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results of the May 2024 Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination. Out of 928 examinees, 640 successfully passed the rigorous exam administered by the Board of Chemical Engineering. The examination took place across various locations, including the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, Legazpi, and Lucena.

The PRC also announced the top ten examinees who excelled in the licensure examination. Leading the list is Miguel Siapno Bungalon from the University of the Philippines - Los Baños, who achieved an impressive rating of 87.30. Following closely is Patrick Jay Buenviaje Garcia from Mapua University - Manila, with a rating of 85.90. Andrei Lan Abiog from the University of the Philippines - Diliman secured the third spot with a rating of 85.50.

Two examinees tied for fourth place: Micah Mangubat Haboc and Michelle Airah Nicolas Pablo, both from De La Salle University - Manila, each scoring 85.10. In fifth place is Jan Czedrick Lip-Atan Mendoza from the University of the Philippines - Diliman, with a rating of 84.90.

Three candidates shared the sixth spot: Janice Conceja Guillermo from Mariano Marcos State University - Batac, Jhilsean Brix Nimrod Garillo Olmedo from Eastern Visayas State University - Tacloban, and Christian Jaimie Saiimcman Room from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, all scoring 84.80.

In seventh place, two examinees, Althea May Bayer Benjamin from Colegio San Agustin - Bacolod City and Dannah Celine Leonardo Gutierrez from the University of the Philippines - Diliman, both scored 84.60. Joshua Antony Gabatan Cruz from the University of the Philippines - Visayas - Iloilo City secured the eighth position with a rating of 84.50.

Kim Bracamonte Dela Peña from the University of the Philippines - Diliman came in ninth with a rating of 84.40, while Shaun Patrick Paulo Albao from Eastern Visayas State University - Tacloban rounded out the top ten with a score of 84.20.

These results highlight the exceptional talent and dedication of the country's future chemical engineers, showcasing the high standards of education and training provided by their respective institutions.
