The University of Batangas

Reflecting on her journey,
Macalindong shared an inspiring message: "On December 18, 2023, I attended
the Simbang Gabi evening mass. During his homily, Father said something that
struck me, and to remember it, I wrote it in the notes app on my cellphone. He
said, 'In the New Testament, a dream is the fulfillment of God’s plan.' Oddly
enough, during the long period I spent reviewing for the boards, I didn’t have
any dreams about the board exam results. Even though it was often in my
prayers, and almost every day, I kept repeating to myself that I would top the
March 2024 LET. I had already taken the boards, several days had passed, but
still nothing. Until April 7th, when I woke up and vividly remembered my dream.
I had passed and topped the boards. I was even ranked 2nd. Because I felt so
happy, I put it again in the notes app for remembrance. And now, the March 2024
LET results are out. My name was not only found in the list of successful
passers but also in the list of top notch in the elementary level of the March
2024 LET (with a bonus, the Lord made me Rank 1!). God is so good. Eternal
praise, honor, and thanksgiving are my offerings to You. What Father said is
true, that dream symbolized the fulfillment of the Lord's plan for me. Thank
you to everyone who has been part of my journey. From my mother, who was my
first teacher, to my whole family who has always been supportive, to my
friends, to every teacher from nursery to review center (CBRC) CBRC Main, to
every person who has shown their trust in me, to all those who prayed with
me—sincere thanks! This victory is the victory of all of us. 2 Chronicles 15:7
'But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be
rewarded.'"
Macalindong expressed deep gratitude
to everyone who supported her throughout her journey, from her first teacher,
her mother, to her family, friends, and every teacher from nursery to review
center. She emphasized that this victory is shared with all who believed in her
and prayed for her success.
Joining Macalindong in the top rank
are Khane Jevie Rose Solante Cervantes from Davao Oriental State
University-Canteel Campus and Mary Grace Manuel Bamba from Bataan Peninsula
State University-Dinalupihan, both of whom also achieved a rating of 92.40%.
This remarkable achievement
underscores the dedication and hard work of these top passers and their
respective institutions, setting a high standard for future educators in the
country.
