Complete List of Passers in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers - Secondary

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) have announced the results of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) held on March 17, 2024. The examination, conducted across 36 testing centers throughout the Philippines, saw a significant number of candidates vying for certification in both elementary and secondary levels.

Secondary Level Examination Results

Out of 85,980 examinees for the secondary level, 50,539 successfully passed, resulting in a pass rate of 58.78%. Among these passers, 41,787 were first-time examinees, while 8,752 were repeaters. This impressive outcome highlights the rigorous preparation and dedication of the aspiring secondary educators.

Top Performing Schools - Secondary Level

The PRC has also recognized the top performing schools in the secondary level based on the number of examinees and their passing percentages, as per Commission Resolution No. 1814 series of 2024.

For schools with 300 or more examinees and at least 65% passing percentage, Philippine Normal University-Manila ranked first. Out of 385 examinees, 381 passed, resulting in an exceptional passing rate of 98.96%. Cebu Normal University (formerly Cebu State College) followed with 419 examinees and 386 passers, achieving a 92.12% passing rate. Southern Luzon State University-Lucban (SLIDC) had 306 examinees with 274 passers, achieving an 89.54% passing rate. Central Mindanao University saw 305 examinees and 269 passers, resulting in an 88.20% passing rate. Leyte Normal University had 590 examinees and 508 passers, yielding an 86.10% passing rate.

For schools with 100 to 299 examinees and at least 92% passing percentage, Philippine Normal University-Mindanao topped the list with a 98.95% passing rate, with 189 passers out of 191 examinees. Philippine Normal University-North Luzon had 151 examinees and 149 passers, achieving a 98.68% passing rate. West Visayas State University-La Paz had 279 examinees with 274 passers, resulting in a 98.21% passing rate. Philippine Normal University-Visayas saw 109 examinees with 105 passers, achieving a 96.33% passing rate. Christian Colleges of Southeast Asia had 119 examinees and 113 passers, yielding a 94.96% passing rate. Davao del Norte State College had 162 examinees with 153 passers, resulting in a 94.44% passing rate.

For schools with 50 to 99 examinees and at least 93% passing percentage, Philippine Normal University-South Luzon ranked first with a passing rate of 97.73%, with 86 passers out of 88 examinees. CSTC College of Sciences, Technology & Communications Inc. had 77 examinees with 75 passers, achieving a 97.40% passing rate. University of the Philippines-Diliman had 63 examinees with 61 passers, resulting in a 96.83% passing rate. Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Rosa had 77 examinees with 74 passers, achieving a 96.10% passing rate. University of Santo Tomas had 57 examinees with 54 passers, yielding a 94.74% passing rate. Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College-Main (formerly North LPSC-Candon) had 95 examinees and 89 passers, achieving a 93.68% passing rate. University of Southeastern Philippines-Tagum had 89 examinees with 83 passers, yielding a 93.26% passing rate. Xavier University had 73 examinees with 68 passers, achieving a 93.15% passing rate.

Top Examinees - Secondary Level

The top examinees who garnered the highest places in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers at the secondary level are:

Javerson Loquina from Christian Colleges of Southeast Asia achieved the top spot with a rating of 92.80%. Jose Brando Ballesteros from Pangasinan State University-Bayambang secured the second spot with a rating of 92.60%. Molly Krister Quimada Nalas from University of Southern Mindanao-Kidapawan followed closely with a rating of 92.40%.
