The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has unveiled the results of the February 2024 Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examination, conducted by the Board of Respiratory Therapy across multiple examination centers. Out of 1,383 examinees, a total of 1,077 individuals have successfully passed this pivotal examination, marking a significant accomplishment in their journey towards professional licensure in the field of respiratory therapy.
The Board of Respiratory Therapy, under the leadership of Julita V. Toledo as Chairman, alongside Members Senen O. Teope and Jesus M. Espinas, orchestrated the examination process with utmost diligence and adherence to professional standards.
The examination was held in various locations including N. C. R., Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Zamboanga, ensuring accessibility for aspiring respiratory therapists across different regions of the Philippines.
In a testament to the PRC's commitment to efficiency and transparency, the results were released within two working days following the conclusion of the examination period. This swift dissemination of results underscores the commission's dedication to providing timely feedback to examinees.
Beginning March 13, 2024, the registration process for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be facilitated through an online platform. Prospective registrants are encouraged to visit the official PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph and carefully follow the provided instructions for initial registration.
Applicants are reminded to prepare the necessary documents, including a downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification purposes only), 2 passport-sized photographs (colored, with a white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope.
Furthermore, successful examinees are urged to personally undertake the registration process and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, highlighting the importance of individual accountability and integrity within the respiratory therapy profession.
