Medical Technologists Results 2024: March Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the results of the Medical Technologists Licensure Examination administered by the Board of Medical Technology across various locations in the Philippines. Out of the 9,068 examinees who took the test in N. C. R., Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga this March, 7,309 successfully passed.

This significant achievement underscores the dedication and commitment of aspiring medical technologists who have undergone rigorous training and preparation to excel in their profession. Heading the Board of Medical Technology during the licensure examination were Dr. Marilyn A. Cabal-Barza, serving as the Chairman, and Dr. Leila Lany M. Florento as a Member. Starting April 25, 2024, successful examinees can proceed with the registration process for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. The registration will be conducted online through the PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph. Examinees are urged to carefully follow the provided instructions for initial registration to facilitate a smooth and efficient process.

Upon registration, individuals are required to bring the following documents:

  • Downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Notice of admission (for identification purposes only)
  • Two pieces of passport-sized photos with a white background and complete name tag
  • Two sets of documentary stamps
  • One piece of short brown envelope

It is imperative for successful examinees to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals to validate their credentials and status as licensed medical technologists.

For those who did not pass the board examination for Medical Technology but obtained a general rating of at least 70%, there is still an opportunity to register as a Medical Laboratory Technician, demonstrating the PRC's commitment to recognizing and accommodating individuals who have demonstrated competence in their respective fields.
