In a recent announcement, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) revealed the results of the January 2024 Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA), administered by the Board of Architecture across multiple examination centers. Out of 2,933 examinees, a commendable 1,809 candidates successfully passed the rigorous examination, signaling a significant achievement in their pursuit of professional licensure.
The Board of Architecture, led by Chairman Arch. Robert S. Sac, along with Members Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente and Arch. Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc, orchestrated the examination process with precision and dedication to uphold the standards of the architectural profession.
However, the results pertaining to one examinee were withheld pending the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations, ensuring fairness and accountability in the assessment process.
The examination was conducted across various locations, including N. C. R., Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on January 24 and 26, 2024, providing accessibility to aspiring architects from different regions.
The PRC demonstrated its commitment to efficiency by promptly releasing the results within three working days following the conclusion of the examination period, underscoring its dedication to transparency and timely communication.
Commencing March 18, 2024, the registration process for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will transition to an online platform. Applicants are urged to visit the official PRC website at
www.prc.gov.ph and meticulously follow the provided instructions for initial registration.
Applicants must ensure they have the requisite documents, including a downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification purposes only), 2 passport-sized photographs (colored, with a white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope.
Moreover, successful examinees are reminded of the importance of personal registration and signing in the Roster of Registered Professionals, emphasizing individual responsibility and integrity within the architectural profession.
The announcement of these results not only celebrates the achievements of the successful candidates but also reaffirms the PRC's commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and competence in the architectural field in the Philippines.
